For Matthew, plumbing has never been just about fixing what’s broken. He enjoys figuring out what’s really going on, explaining it in a way homeowners can understand, and helping people make informed decisions without feeling rushed or pressured.
He started working in plumbing at 18 and has spent nearly two decades learning every side of the trade—from everyday repairs to complex plumbing and heating projects. Over the years, he’s discovered that the part he enjoys most isn’t just solving problems—it’s building relationships and leaving homeowners feeling confident about the work that’s been done.
Outside of work, Matthew enjoys spending time with family, fishing, hiking, and taking advantage of everything the Pacific Northwest has to offer.

Marketing & Customer Experience Manager
If you’ve visited our website, seen one of our Facebook posts, or noticed a Driftwood yard sign around town, you’ve already seen Ami’s work.
After years working in healthcare, she discovered a passion for branding, design, and helping small businesses connect with their communities. Today, she works behind the scenes to shape Driftwood’s online presence—from the website and social media to advertising, printed materials, and community outreach—helping ensure every first impression reflects the values the company was built on.
You’ll occasionally spot Ami on job sites with her phone in hand, capturing photos and videos of real projects to share with the community. Her goal is simple: to give homeowners an authentic look at the people behind Driftwood and the care that goes into every job before they ever make the call.
At Driftwood Plumbing & Heating, our vision is to build more than a plumbing and heating company—we’re building a business homeowners genuinely feel good about calling. We believe great service starts with listening, communicating clearly, and treating every home with the same respect we’d expect in our own.
As we continue to grow, we want every customer to feel like they were treated as a neighbor, not just another appointment on the schedule. Whether we’re fixing a small leak or completing a major installation, our goal is for every homeowner to feel informed, respected, and confident in the work we’ve done.
We’re also committed to building a company our employees can be proud to represent. By creating a positive, supportive environment and investing in the people who work alongside us, we believe exceptional customer service begins with a team that enjoys what they do and takes pride in doing it well.
Above all, we hope Driftwood becomes a trusted name throughout the Puget Sound—not because we’re the biggest company, but because we’ve earned the confidence of the families and communities we serve, one home at a time.
